Blood of Dragons
Looking like a reptilian baboon, these creatures were once the fodder of the Wizard Kings armies. Kobolds have survived through the centuries mostly due to their high birth rate. A Kobold queen can lay several eggs a month. Individual Kobolds are semi-sentient but groups exhibit hive-mind type behavior; practicing squad level tactics without a clear leader. Kobold will charge targets on all fours, then rise up to attack with clawed hands and teeth. The occasional Kobold will wield a weapon in emulation of humans.
A Kobolds scaly hide offers some armor protection and they are resilient for their size.
The females are said to larger than the males.
